The SCS.3d or DaScratch is a truly innovative touch sensitive controller that can be used with any midi compatible software such as Ableton Live or Traktor Scratch. It has two banks of controls that allow you to select either a deck A or B option, meaning effectively that this is two controllers in one. Da Scratch works on a truly touch sensitive technology, which is so responsive it allows multiple finger touches to send multiple messages to your software simultaneously - meaning this is more of an instrument in itself, than a mere midi controller. The SCS.3d comes with Stanton's specially developed DJ software called DaRouter, which is both PC and Mac compatible, and the SCS.3d require know external drivers to operate either. DaScratch's center section operates mainly in 3 different modes - Slider, Circle, and Button mode. These 3 different control layouts can be evoked by any of the mode buttons depending on how the DaRouter preset is programmed, what's more if you're that way inclined, Stanton's Magnect system allows multiple DaScratch controllers to be hooked up at once, meaning potentially creativity of this product is unlimited.
