I must say we've been waiting for Numark's iDJ for quite a while. Ever stretching the boundaries of DJ technology, the iDJ2 Mobile DJ Workstation allows the user to turn a single iPOD into a complete DJ package. But it doesn't just stop at mixing your favourite MP3s, as the iDJ2 has real-time scratching capabilities (via two jog wheels), a stunning colour screen and Numark's exclusive crate management. You can also change tempo without a pitch change using keylock and you can hook up multiple mass storage devices including additional hard drives, thumb drives and other iPODs. And if that wasn't enough the user can also plug in their own microphone, CD player and even a turntable using the built in line inputs. This quite possibly is the beginning of a revolution in the way DJs play music, as the MP3 ever adds to the portability and capabilities of the DJ.
