With the artwork resurrecting the iconic imagery of the "Lifeforms" album you know that the intention here is to re-assert Cobain & Dougans' place in amongst the electronic aristocracy - and there is such a vast wealth of material on offer that you can imagine both hardcore followers and newcomers finding much to enjoy here. Highlights on Part one include the treated Hardcore reductions of "Neuro Device Send", the skittering Jazz-tinged patching of "Hallucination" and the classic Lifeforms-era soundscaping of "Woodland", a track that appropriately enough appears to feature Liz Frazer's sublime vocal treatments making this in itself quite a find.
